Large Dust Collection System Installed in New Sydney Based Pharmaceutical Plant
Ezi-Duct has just finished installing a large Dust Collection System into a new Pharmaceutical plant located in the western Suburbs of Sydney. The Dust Collection System has nearly 60 pick up/collection points throughout the new state of the art manufacturing faculty. The MDC Polex Dust Collector has 2 x EXE 110kW and 1 x 7.5kW centrifugal high efficiency fans.
All the centrifugal high efficiency fans are controlled automatically via 3 x VSDs ( variable speed drive ) fitted into our control panel. The VSD will save the customer considerable amount in energy costs. The VSD is controlled by a pressure transducer fitted in the systems ducting that signals the VSD to automatically lower the power consumption of the fan when machines connected to the dust collection system are shut off.
The Ezi-Duct TF series of centrifugal high efficiency fans efficient design provides around 40% more performance than the old style centrifugal fans. This equates to our 110kw centrifugal high efficiency fan out performing an old style 150kW fan.
This ensure the MDC dust collector units are the heart of an extremely energy efficient and powerful Dust Collection System. The Dust Collectors many top quality filter bags are continuously and automatically cleaned while the unit is operating using a pulse of compressed air. The ensures the dust collectors is running at maximum efficiency at all times. The MDC P dust collectors are fitted with Rotary Vales (air lock valves ) that feeds waste directly into the customers waste bin. This great feature enables customers to empty or change the units waste bin or bins without turning the unit off & shutting the dust collection system down. This enables the factory to continue running, saving customers labour & cutting down costs.
