Custom Designed Dust Collection System Made by Ezi-Duct for NSW High School
Ezi-Duct recently supplied & installed a new dust extraction system to a High School located in rural NSW. Where the school wanted the Dust Collector to be locatedthere was a very limited amount of space & height. As Ezi-Duct is a proud Australian manufacturer & designer of Dust Collectors we were able to custom design and build one of our eCompact 6000 Collectors for the customer. The modified eCompact 6000 Dust Collector provides powerful suction of up to 6000 m3/h @ 3000 pa and works under negative pressure so no "dirty air" passes through the high efficiency, energy saving 7.5 kW fan. Ezi-Duct also supplied the Ezi-Duct Modular Steel Ducting System & Ezi-Flex Flexible ducting. The new Dust Extraction system extracts wood dust from 2 Industrial arts classrooms.

The eCompact 6000 Dust Collector automatically cleans its many top quality filter bags every time the unit is shut down via a PLC incorporated into the control panelthat is supplied with the unit. This makes the Dust Collector operate at 100% efficiency the next time the Dust Extraction System is used .
To ensure ease of operation and to eliminate any risk of OH & S issues associated with emptying the waste the eCompact 6000 Dust Collector that EZIDUCT installedin this location, deposits the waste dust directly into 2 x 240L "Wheelie Bins". This makes removing the waste from the Dust Collector very easy and no heavy lifting required.
