Ezi-Arm Fume Arms cleans the air for North Queensland Fabricator
Ezi-Duct Queensland recently installed a welding fume extraction system in a fabrication company Located in Northern Queensland. There were 6 x 4.6 m Ezi-Arm original Fume Arms installed in the welding bays of the Townsville based company that produce equipment for the mining industry.
As the welding bays were quite large, the large size 4.6 m Ezi-Arm Fume Arms were the perfect choice for this application. The Ezi-Arm operates with all support mechanisms being fitted externally making the internal airflow free from any obstructions. This makes the Ezi- Arm the best performing fume arm on the market. The Ezi-Arm Fume Arm is available in 3 sizes; 2.2 m, 3.0 m & the big 4.6 m.
The hood is manufactured from robust light weight plastic construction and is fitted with a robust handle, making the Ezi-Arm very light & manoeuvrable. The client is delighted with the simple operation of the Ezi-Arm Fume Arms in keeping the smoke and fine dust away from the welders.
The 4.6m Ezi-Arms are connected to Ezi-Duct Smooth Bore Modular Ducting in the roof space and then to an Ezi-Duct CBS 400 Centrifugal Fan. An Ezi-duct Ducting Silencer is also fitted to ensure there is minimal noise created by the Welding Fume Extraction System. The Ezi-Duct CBS 400 Centrifugal Fan is an industrial quality, High Efficiency Fan that produces around 40% more airflow and pressure than a convention fan.
