Ezi-Duct Helps to Eliminate Waste

Aluminium trim extraction system A large Aluminum trim Extraction System using smooth bore Ezi-Duct Modular Ducting was installed at the Confoil Plant located in Sydney suburb of Seven Hills.

Confoil is one of Australia largest manufactures of Aluminium trays and had experienced problems with handling, disposal and recycling their Aluminum trim scrap.

The turnkey project was carried out by Polex Environmental Engineering Pty Ltd who designed, engineered, installed and commissioned the system.

Polex used Ezi-Duct 150 mm dia. Modular duct and a Galvanised Steel 1800 mm dia Cyclone .

Grant Stevens MD of Polex said Aluminium trim scrap is a difficult product to pneumatically convey as it can easily catch and block the ducting.

Ezi-Duct ducting was the best choice as it has a smooth bore tube with pressed 90 deg. Bends. There was a very limited space to do the installation of the many 100 mtrs of duct and Ezi-Duct Modular Ducting was very quick and easy to install.

My installation crew were able to install the system in much less time saving costs. The advantages for my client are long term because the Ezi-Duct ducting simply clamps together, the customer can easily pull the system down for cleaning or if a blockage occurs.

Ezi-Duct manufactures and supplies a huge range of Ducting and Ducting Clamps, in Galvanised, Stainless and mild steel.

Ezi-Duct also provides many other products such as:

  • One of the most comprehensive ranges of flexible ducting on the market
  • A large range of high quality industrial and commercial fans
  • Rotary valves in both cast and fabricated types
  • Dust collectors and filters
  • A large range of filter cartridges
  • Many other associated products

Ezi-Duct has offices or agents that cover the entire country and is one of the leading suppliers in Dust Collection, Pollution Control, Fume Extraction and Pneumatic Conveying Equipment in Australia.

Australia will loose 100m,000's of skilled jobs such as tradesman and engineers. And as Australian Manufactuerers it would be hypocritical for us not to buy Australian. We must support one another to ensure our survival.
